Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick has officially unseated three-term Senator Bob Casey (D-PA), expanding the Republican hold on the chamber even further after three pick-ups on Election Day. The Associated Press called the race shortly after 4 p.m. EST.

McCormick — who was narrowly defeated by Dr. Mehmet Oz in the Republican Senate primary for retiring Senator Pat Toomey’s seat in 2022 — was finally declared the winner nearly 48 hours after polls closed on Tuesday. more
