That’s especially true of his decision to give a full, 10-year Criminal Court term to Judge Laura Johnson, who’s been particularly soft on thugs accused of assaulting and threatening cops.
A year ago, she freed without bail reputed gang member Devon Coley, who — just hours after the cold-blooded murder of Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu — had posted an online photo of a gunman blasting an NYPD cruiser and “73Nextt,” an apparent reference to the 73rd Precinct.
A day later, she freed Travis Maye, who’d assaulted a cop and threatened to kill others. In both cases, prosecutors asked for substantial bail — but Johnson insisted it would be “wrong” to impose it “because of the current climate.” more here
New York is a cesspool.
If your rich you can avoid the high crime areas.
But if your poor, I feel sorry for you.
The sooner that DeBlasio can turn NYC back into it’s native sh*tholeness the better. You people of NYC deserve everything you get.
Can’t wait for the new TV shows about the NYC Dystopia.
Vote of no confidence in the morning, disbarred forever by end of day.
