I read/skimmed the preview. Although the information in the book may well be important, noteworthy, etc., the author’s style turns me off. If the 30 pages were simply a lengthy sales pitch, that would be OK, but those pages are apparently the first 30 pages of the book. I don’t care for (old joke reference alert) lots and lots of telling me how great it’s going to be. I don’t know whether my objections are to the authors selling technique or his book writing style, but I’m not likely to find out because I’m not likely to read the whole thing. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more positive, but there it is.
I totally agree, Al. All of the “what you’re about to read will blow your mind” variants, smacked of ballyhoo and I saw very little content in thirty pages.
Watch for the followup book, “How modern writing style has killed book reading”..
Amen to that. What I read was pretty much what they were saying when I was a kid. Every previous generation thought the one that followed was going to Hell in a handbasket, especially mine. Somehow we managed to struggle through, but I have serious doubts about the current one…

He was very repetitive, I supposed that I could look up what happened 1848 and get an idea of where he is coming from.
Feb 26th, 1848 – Marx & Engels publish “Communist Manifesto” He’s right though, the Marxists have done everything they can to destroy Judeo-Christian values.
That’s because they were in league with Lucifer! Come on now, what else did you expect from communists. It wasn’t as if Marx and Engles were followers of God.
Anyone who’s bothered to read Marx & Engels’ Communist Manifesto knew this already.
The Manifesto says that the family should not be where loyalty lies. They say children and wives are just modern, bourgeois slaves. That loyalty should be to the state. That the state should be educating kids.
It also says no one should own private property. See the land grabs going on and O’s dictate that low income housing should be built in high income neighborhoods. (Except his).
It talks about pretty much all of the democrat party’s platform.
