Had a feeling you’d have Bonamassa and Clapton among your picks. While I’ve been a long-time fan of Clapton, I didn’t discover JoBo until around 2011. I happened to hear, and was mesmerized by, “Happier Times” when it popped up on Pandora. Eleven albums later, I guess you’d say I’m a diehard fan now. 🙂 Incredibly, I happen to live in the same neighborhood as Joe’s very talented bass player- whom I’ve dubbed “Rolling Thunder” due to his riffs on “Mountain Climbing.” I’ve become good buddies with him and his wife– really nice people.
Especially fond of Clapton’s tribute to his dear friend. RIP JJ, you may have departed this world but your music will live forever.
There was a karaoke jockey gal in Anaheim years ago that had a serious Beth Hart fixation – there was nothing by Beth available on karaoke, so she would lip sync to a studio version – the perks of running the show.
