Thumb up this comment if you enjoy Diogenes’ playlist.
I had to thumb up for starting out with MK. Haven’t even heard the other five.
Good job Diogenes. Steve Earle and SRV kick ass.
Never figured Diogenes to be a blues fan. I like them all except Copperhead Road. Steve Earle has done better and this is way overplayed by those who line dance (i.e. can’t two step).
But I loves me some Diogenes always!

Hands down, the best set submitted to date. Well done Miz Jan!
SRV is one of my favs. Caught him on stage in Knoxville in 1987 for the “Live Alive” tour. He da man!
AWD, about 80% of my studio’s time is rented to Blues Musicians.
…..and right back at ya! ❤❤
Nice idea for a regular Saturday night feature, I think.
….although two or three cuts would be a tasteful “appetizer.”
Try Chilliwack:

…Lady in Red
I would have The Other Side of Town by Steve Earle in one of my lists.
i was fortunate enough to see stevie ray vaughan at the variety theater in cleveland in1984. intimate venue, great show.
Not that I want too, but how do we thumb down if we wanted too. This seams very PC, “we are all winners” type of crap.
Fantastic! I haven’t heard Maria Muldaur in years! There’s another CD or 3 i need to get.
Great guitar work by Warren Haynes on Mother Earth. Wow! I’ll be needing some more of his music too.
Stevie Ray is always my favorite bluesman, think I have all of his CDs. He will be 1/6 of my playlist too.
I miss Hot Tuna from my west coast days. Great song.
I love the Blues. This is my favorite iOTWr play list so far.
Thank You Diogenes!
🙂
Why would you want to do that, insult somebody’s playlist? Just turn the channel if it’s not what rings your bells. It’s far from “crap”.
Very relaxing. I can listen to this all night. Of course, I’ll be so relaxed I’ll melt to sleep.
Thanks, Diogenes. Very much.
So nice I had to listen to it twice!
Nice!!!
Not familiar with MK. He sounds like Lou Reed and Bob Dylan mixed. Never cared for either. Now SRV, me love. Saw him in Berlin at the Metropol. Next DeeJay just do SRV greatest hits. I’ve got an unopen bottle of Benchmark from my birthday that needs recycling.
I discovered Stevie Ray Vaughan’s amazing talent when I taught him to play the guitar …
ROFL That took me a minute.
Learned the mouth harp to Little Feat, Allman Bros. and Hot Tuna.
Some consider Clapton to be a guitar God, Lowell George is the one I worship.
