DEI is Going to Get Someone to DIE

Revolver

How many people have to get shot, maimed, or killed before we admit that diversity hires are destroying law enforcement? Time and time again, we’ve watched female officers make already dangerous situations worse—because they’re physically, emotionally, and mentally unfit for the demands of front-line police work. And we’re not cherry-picking some isolated incident. We’ve covered this DEI disaster over and over because it keeps happening. But most people are too afraid to state the obvious: women are not the same as men, and they can’t do everything a man can do—especially when force, control, and quick judgment are required in life-or-death situations. 1. Even before DEI we didn’t exactly have the best in law enforcement. But the real blame of course lies with the existence of the government monopoly on societal “security.”

  2. Estimates of more than 1,000 people murdered, as a direct effect of police pullback thanks to the ‘George Floyd Effect’. And that’s just one piece of it.
Tens of thousands have died thanks to DIE, whether from law enforcement pullbacks, doctors and pilots who were not qualified, etc. But they will scream and yell about a single incident while ignoring any that make them feel bad.

  3. News flash: Not a week goes by in which the combination of DEI combined with politicization of the engineering field is not responsible for killing a dozen people on our nation’s highways and byways. I spent a career in the transportation engineering field and can say that very little, if anything is done in which sound engineering practices are not subordinated to bullshit any longer. The reason they are getting away with it is because most people don’t have the education and/or experience to recognize and quantity the risk, the minority who do either a) are in on it b) go along to get along c) don’t want to be seen as not down with the current thing or d) cannot get their message out.

It’s not just law enforcement, it is in every profession.

  4. It’s not just DEI, physical fitness standards have all but disappeared. Too many cops simply could not engage in a foot chase. And forget about hand-to-hand combat, they would likely be overwhelmed very quickly. An awful lot of young hoodlums were on their high school football/basketball/track teams.

  5. NOBODY should be a patrol cop who isn’t large enough and strong enough to play college level football. And that standard needs to be maintained for ALL officers no matter how long they are on the job. Physically incapable and unfit officers inevitably leads to unnecessary use of deadly force when they can’t meet the physical demands of the job.

I hear ya, but in situations that need to end quickly before innocent people are killed, quick reaction with deadly force is best.

But on the fitness issue, yes I agree with ya.
