Dem running for congress who carps about money influencing politics once gave Obama 100K and then asked to be an Ambassador

American Lookout-

Don’t you love it when Democrats call for less money in politics and then get busted for massive hypocrisy? Scott Wallace is a rich Democrat running for Congress in Pennsylvania. He says money corrupts politics but he used to have a very different view of the subject.

FOX News reports:

Top Dem candidate who said money ‘corrupts’ politics donated $100G to Obama and asked for US ambassadorship

A liberal millionaire now running for Congress in Pennsylvania — and railing against the influence of money in politics — has a history of making large donations to former President Barack Obama’s campaign and other efforts.

Scott Wallace, grandson of a former vice president of Franklin Roosevelt — who’s running as a Democrat in Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District against Republican incumbent Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick — gave more than $100,000 to Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign and Presidential Inaugural Committee and also asked top administration official John Podesta to appoint him as U.S. Ambassador in South Africa.

  1. If politicians who break the law ever got prosecuted (at all, let alone severely) then this shit would stop.

PS Make this idiots wish come true: send him to South Africa now, so they can handle his white ass.

  2. A hundred thousand dollars. United States dollars? That’s not “money”. Ask John McCain. That’s what you have to clear in a month to be middle class. That’s the odd amount left over in one of the Bahamian accounts you forgot you had. He’s talking about money.

  3. I’m in favor of BFH eliminating the option of posting as anonymous. Of course this is a rare site that allows a sense of anonymity, and we all appreciate that, but what all you guys/gals that post as anonymous do, is take away from the rest of us the opportunity to have an exchange of ideas with someone that has established a track record of positions. We never know which anonymous we are trying to communicate to. Hell, joe6pak is anonymous to most of you, but I have a track record of positions taken that it allows for a better exchange of thoughts as a result of knowing who you are communicating with. How many frickin anonymouses are out there. It’s past time to man up and be somebody.

How does some one disagreeing with you take away, even reduce, your opportunity to express your ideas?

  5. Are you serious? It’s not a matter of anyone agreeing or disagreeing. It’s a matter of continuing the discussion with someone you have an idea of as far as positions taken earlier. How many anonymouses do you think there might be?

    > Are you serious?
Serious that I (at least) acted as if the thought you expressed wasn’t trolling? Yes. Tone is difficult in plain text, so that may have been a mistake.

    > It’s not a matter of anyone agreeing or disagreeing.
    #MeToo is fun.

    > It’s a matter of continuing the discussion with someone you have an idea of as far as positions taken earlier.
It’s right there. Even the redundant quoting is just a convenience.

    > How many anonymouses do you think there might be?
    More than zero.

(Yee. It almost looks like I was fisking. I need a brain shower.)
