Democrat – Kim Davis – Released – IOTW Report

20 Comments on Democrat – Kim Davis – Released

  1. Another first for the O administration. The first person in 239 years in the history of this country to be tossed in the klink for defending her Christian beliefs.

Sadly this is just the beginning of persecution of Christians in America. Its going to get worse and soon. You best believe it.

  2. Seems like the government has managed to accomodate Conscientious Objectors in the armed forces for quite a while. What’s the problem with making CO status available to civilians in government? They are on the front lines of the culture war.

  3. Whoever is cheering on this stupid bitch is really not thinking it through. If you support any pious shithead’s right to turn their public position into their own little theocratic fiefdom, then that’s a perfect way to usher in Sharia law.

  4. Very conflicted about Davis. She was put in jail by a RINO judge, petitioned for her release by a RINO and her political leaning as a Democrat seem more of a convenience rather than a serious conviction. Davis is more like a Blue Dog DINO.
Her church and doctrine seem extremely legalistic which motivates her actions more than her personal relationship with God.
Yes, I know it doesn’t matter what kind of Christian she is to the commie Obama Administration because leftists want complete control. Just some nagging issues that concern me.
She never should have been arrested. The government is making her an example of what will happen when it’s opposed.

  5. Kim Davis caved-in on her “morals” in my opinion. Apparently she’s okay with allowing sodomites to be married as long as her name isn’t on the dotted line????? Really????

To me, that’s like saying she’s okay with the Jews being burnt in the ovens as long as she doesn’t have to open the door or sign the order for extermination.

I’m calling bullshit on this one.

Personally, I think she was released because she was becoming a martyr, and the progressive anti-Christianty faction can’t have that becoming news.

  6. I thought the Civil Rights required religious accommodation in private and public businesses unless it was a serious burden on the employer.
When I worked for the state of Ohio we had to accommodate several Motards who demanded space and time to lift their asses to the Aloha Snackbar.

  7. Title VII requires an employer, once on notice that a religious accommodation is needed, to reasonably accommodate an employee whose sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance conflicts with a work requirement, unless doing so would pose an undue hardship. Under Title VII, the undue hardship defense to providing religious accommodation requires a showing that the proposed accommodation in a particular case poses a “more than de minimis” cost or burden. Note that this is a lower standard for an employer to meet than undue hardship under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) which is defined in that statute as “significant difficulty or expense.”

  8. Receiving Christ doesn’t make one an idiot, exactly the opposite. She was looking to punish no one, just not to have her signature affixed to homosexual marriage licenses. The judge in this incident, instead of upholding the First Amendment, chose to make an example of her by jailing her. This whole spectacle was caused by a homosympathetic judge with no understanding of the Constitution. Now, stop being a stupid jackass.

  9. Thrice divorced. Married four times. Two children out of wedlock. One the product of adultery. If anyone has made a mockery of marriages, it’s Kim Davis herself. You pious clowns have a blind spot to Constitutional principals every time some moron evokes the name of Jesus.

  10. I’m sure she’s not “FOR” the homoqueer marriage licenses being done at all, but she isn’t in charge of other people’s lives.

She is standing up for her beliefs in that SHE can’t bring herself to be a part of someone else’s depravity
