State Rep. Joe Moody (D-El Paso) has been stripped of his position as speaker pro tem in the Texas House following his decision to flee the state in order to stymie the ongoing special session that Gov. Greg Abbott called.

    “Fixes” which undoubtedly don’t need to be made, but the Democrats’ motto has always been “If it ain’t broke, we’ll break it”.

  3. I doubt he cared about the position or else he wouldn’t have taken off with his perps. I read where Beta O’Rourke and Willie Nelson funded the Dim’s getaway only to find themselves arrested. Ole’ Willie and wannabe Mexican Beta didn’t think this one through thoroughly.
