Dick Durbin has the released blocked. Last time I checked he’s a Democrat. Last night the Republicans brought the release to the floor. The dems voted it down. If the Dems allow it to be released they will no longer be able to accuse Trump of being a pedo. The dems biggest fear IS the release. Because then they’ve got nothing. It’s my understanding that Trump’s DOJ has discretionary authority to declassify or otherwise publicly release records it holds. It does not need permission from Congress. The only rules regulating the release are legal, such as grand jury transcripts, etc., but I don’t think anyone is asking for those things anyway. Most of what the DOJ has, it could release today.

Someone should explain that to Dick Durbin and the DOJ. Durbin is obviously protecting someone. And it’s probably not Trump.
