Democrats Introduce Bullet Control Bill

DC: In the wake of the “March For Our Lives” rally Saturday, and with no legislative appetite for more gun control laws, Democrats in both the House and Senate have introduced a bill requiring background checks for purchasing bullets.

“You do not have the right to bear bullets,” said Congresswoman and former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz at a press conference Monday announcing the introduction of a bill that would require instant background checks to purchase ammunition.

The Ammunition Background Check Act was introduced by Wasserman Schultz in the House and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) in the Senate. Like its name implies, it would require anyone looking to buy bullets to be subjected to background checks, similar to the one required to purchase a firearm in the first place.  read more

  1. Coming from a Congressman who didn’t do a background check on the Pakistani IT guy she hired who was a conman, thief and intelligence spy. And coming from a Lying, “Stolen Valor” Senator this tired move is rich.

  2. Will this apply to the gov’t agencies purchasing weapons and ammunition?
    Police forces?
    The Armed Forces?

If guns and ammunition are inherently bad, shouldn’t they be banned from EVERYONE?
If guns and ammunition can sneak out, of their own volition, and do violence and mischief, isn’t it imperative that they be outlawed THROUGHOUT the Republic?
    Starting with the Capitol Police?
Then the FBI, the SS, the EPS, DCPD, BATFE, DEA, &c.?

It’s the only fair and right thing to do!

Where the fuck are the Representatives and Senators who will add THIS rider to this un-Constitutional, anti-American abortion?

Shouldn’t the maggots who call themselves our “Leaders” LEAD in this important matter?
Disarm the Capitol Police, and then – and ONLY then – attempt to disarm ME!

  4. Debbie is obviously with the knowledge that she very shortly going to be indicted, tried, found guilty, and sentenced to Club Gitmo.

She knows, therefore she has nothing to lose by doing this.

Just think of all the humidity in Cuba, Deb.

  5. Wasserman Schultz said, “I really think it’s important to underscore that without bullets a gun is just a hunk of useless metal, and a would-be killer lacks the means to actually kill or maim.”

By this same logic, “Without a human operator to pull the trigger, a gun is just a useless hunk of metal.

    Just Thinking out loud.

  6. Why isn’t that woman in jail? Oh, that’s right, the brotherhood of the congressional heist of America protects her and the rest of the the unethical cabal of congress. And we get to pay for it. Where’s that list of congressional hush money payouts?

  7. The second amendment doesn’t protect simply “gun rights.” It protects our right TO BEAR ARMS. Bullets are a part of arms.

Never ever, ever, ever accept ANY premise of a leftist argument.

  9. So, does that mean I can still buy primed and loaded casings, and just have to pass the background check when buying bullets by the bucket to seat and crimp myself?
