Democratic leaders in the House indicated Tuesday that if Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., attempted to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson, they would work against such a move.

Which tells me the Dems would rather have Johnson than Hakeem Jeffries. And why not? After all, he has proven to be one of the worst of the swamp vermin.
I’m thinking it’s a trap. When it comes time to vote they will not save him. They will help to shove him out, then hope he’s humiliated and pissed off enough that resigns from Congress effectively immediately. The door will be open for a donkey speaker.
