This is what’s so revealing and frustrating about the current climate in DC.
Trump is obviously governing as a conservative, so the NeverTrump fears should be quelled. Yet we still have jerks (what other way is it to put it?) like Ben Shapiro, who bites at Trump’s ankles. And worse still, we have National Review and their ilk who simply want Trump, the conservative, out of office.
With every branch of government in the right’s control we have daily pushback from our own who harp on “tone,” or “chaos,” much of which would not exist if Trump had the entire right’s wind at his back. They are contributing to the chaos which creates the bad tone.
“Trump will send conservatism back 150 years!!!” – Idiots.
In the land of reality, Trump should be enjoying 4 years of total control in order to fundamentally transform America back into a conservative-style system of governance, yet, we have the underminers looming daily.
WHY?
It’s easy for a fraud to talk a conservative game when they’re only in a position to talk. Once in power we’ll see from these bad actors inaction at its best, sabotage at its worst.
McCain is the obvious example. So is Graham. So is McConnell. So is Paul Ryan. So is Orrin Hatch.
None of them seem to be enjoying full power. They seem to be worried by it. It feels a little like a boxer that’s been paid to lay down and his opponent, unfortunately, looks wobbly. They start to prop up the opposition for fear of getting whacked by the people who own them.
When the revolution starts, there are rich targets behind us, not on the “other side.”
We’ve got a long way to go….Trump is a very good start, but only a start.
Hope this prediction is more accurate than his last.
We can all get gigs like Silver – if we’re willing to become progressives. Be wrong about everything but proclaim yourself an expert.
Trump’s approval rating (based on fake news saying its 38%) is probably closer to 60-65%.
….but watching the dems scurry about is quite satisfying.
You know your side is winning when:
1. Jerry Moonbeam Brown says people are skewing more democrat than republican.
2. Chuck Schumer ponders if the dems should embrace pro-life candidates.
3. The Los Angeles Sheriff pouts about not getting gubment millions in subsidies.
4. Rahm Dead Fish Emanuel threatens to sue the government, to which I say, (go for your fucking gun, Rahm).
Remember, Hillary, according to these MSM assholes, was polling 90% landslide win to Trump in the election.
