This is a strange one. If they weren’t do this purposely, in order to make the news, they belong in a mental ward.
EAU CLAIRE, WI (Gray News) – A mother and her son are in custody after causing a ruckus at a Walmart Wednesday night, police said. Their dog chipped in, too.
The Eau Claire Police Department identified 46-year-old Lisa Smith and her 25-year-old son Benny Vann as the suspects. Investigators said the dog is named Bo.
Responding officers said they found Smith yelling in the doorway trying to summon Bo.
Smith allegedly brought Bo into the store without a leash, so he easily ditched his owner and started running up to unsuspecting customers.
While Bo was doing that, Smith began tearing apart store displays and placing them in her shopping cart, police said.
Walmart staff asked her to leave, and she complied. Police said she left the store to perform karate moves in the parking lot.
Bo, on the other hand, had not been brought to heel. By the time anyone found him, he was on his way out of the store with a box of Jiffy cornbread muffin mix in his mouth.
Police arrested Smith, but it wasn’t without a fight. She allegedly kicked out a patrol car window when they finally got her in custody.
Meanwhile. police said Vann was running amok inside the store. He allegedly took off all of his clothes in the rear of the Walmart and exposed himself to everyone around him.
Fortunately for them, he tried to cover himself by putting on the clothes Walmart had on the racks. Even so, police said he didn’t try to purchase them, so that is also a crime.
Officers approached and commanded him to end the madness, but he refused. Authorities said Vann even used a scooter in an attempt to run over an officer.
But law enforcement physically stopped the scooter and took him into custody.

The drug addiction problem in this country is a national shame. Why hasn’t anyone studied the correlation between living wage jobs moving to Mexico and Asia and the increase in drug/alcohol use?

I can’t remember the documentary done (in the past year?)by HBO, but it chronicled the drug trade in a small town in the southeast (KY?). Anyway, very small town, rural areas, where most of the rent money is secured in drug trafficking. Whole families living in squalor — at least three generations — all addicted, selling; in and out of prison. No one has a job to go to. They go to rehab and try their hardest to scratch out some kind of life, but there were no jobs. I hope after Trump’s 2nd term we can find another one like him who will not sell these families out for personal gain.
It’s a real tragedy. I try to think about how these people must feel to know what a wreck their lives are and how they must crave the dignity of standing on their own two feet.

They look like neighbors of mine. Everyone with a dog in this state take them everywhere they go. Why kennel or have someone take care of your animals when they can just come with you? Work, restaurants, shopping, the casino, dogs can go anywhere and if they’re not allowed inside just leave’em guarding the vehicle. Problem solved.
There have been destitute and insane people since the dawn of man. It is easy to picture poor people as cripples, unable to fend for themselves but the truth is much harsher. There are far more white people in this country absorbing your tax dollars than minorities. We have mental illness running rampant and unchecked. We have unmitigated sloth, encouraged and supported by the “social net”. WIC, SNAP, Medicaid, Medicare, etc. fraud due to the unaccountable and inefficient leviathan administering these programs.
Social welfare MUST be handled locally in order for it to be effective and efficient.
Of course it would also be nice if we could eliminate graft and corruption, but I suppose I should simply shrug, pay my taxes, shut up and sit the fook down…………
