Three supposed comediennes co-hosted the Oscars Sunday night, as the show, which has been reeling from its plunge in ratings in recent years, attempted to win America over. Co-host Wanda Sykes decided she would alienate plenty of people in Florida by attacking them over the state’s Parental Rights in Education legislation, sniping, “Well, we’re going to have a great night tonight. And for you people in Florida, we’re going to have a gay night.”
She then joined co-hosts Regina Hall and Amy Schumer to chant like defiant four-year-olds, “Gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay, gay.”
Christina Pushaw, the press secretary for Florida GOP governor Ron DeSantis, who reportedly supports the bill, mocked the trio of faux-comediennes with a succinct and lacerating tweet: “Florida will never recover from this.” More
They’ll never learn that crap like this is the reason their ratings are in the toilet. They should just rename it the “new naacp awards show”.
Just when you think that Hollywood could not possibly suck more….
watched one minute…watched the start with Beyonce as a proud BLACK woman attempting to lip synch something all while staring at her looks and thinking she has spent HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of dollars to LOOK AS WHITE AS SHE CAN all while being that proud black woman. THESE FOLKS ARE NUTS!
The sooner any talk of compromise or reconciliation is dispensed, the better.
And after what I fear will be pulled again by them this Nov, voting HARDERER should join them.
So it broke down into an episode of The Fintstones, then – “We’ll have a gay old time!!!”
If those three women were all I had to choose from, I’d turn gay in a heartbeat!
The show simply illustrates the fact you have to have no talent to be an actor! I watched the first 10. seconds.
I had no idea oscars had been on until I got here this morning.

The sad thing is that the liberals will accept the tweet by Ms. Pushaw at face value and figure they won.
On one hand, we should be aware of the public positions of celebrities who influence a lot of people. On the other hand, it’s 3 1/2 hours of time I’ll never get back to watch a program handing out awards for films I did not see starring people I really don’t care about. So I compromised and watched about 10 minutes before I was bored silly.
As wanda sykes said about the late great Rush Limbaugh:
