Dinner With Trump Contest Is A Scam

There’s a website out there being run by a scam PAC that seems to be running a contest to dine with The Donald.  It cost nothing to initially register, but then the website offers to “double your chances of winning” for a donation, yet states in fine print “Contributing will not increase your chances of winning.”

What the winner will eventually get is two tickets to a “Sponsor-selected fundraising evening event held with Donald Trump and other attendees.”  That’s something you could have arranged yourself and given the money directly to the candidate’s campaign.

The scammer running the contest, a 25-year-old Maryland man Ian Hawes, has already taken $1.1 million from 21, 253 donors and has more than 410,000 email accounts, that can be spammed for more money on into the future.

Hawes is also running crookedhillary2016.org and imwithTrump.org.
