Well, do the 2900 do any useful work? Seems to be 2901 savings opportunities.
When you are “special” you don’t have to go to work in a physical location. What takes them all day to do their work in the office can be done in 3 1/2 hours at home. By their thoughts they are saving the government 4 1/2 hours.
$100K per year times 2900 is about $3 billion dollars a year.
DoGE them.
Here’s another perspective:
Just think of what an environmental hazard all that HVAC waste is!!
Throw THAT in a Lefty’s face!
empty buildings & minds
A wise man once said: Empty buildings and empty minds make the most noise.
Maybe they took the whole “work from home” thing a bit too literally.
I’m actually o.k. with this. The less that federal workers actually do, the less damage the federal government can cause.
At times, our federal government reminds me of the film “Brazil.” Brazil was largely a take on Orwell’s 1984, but instead of being thoroughly evil, the government was largely incompetent – although that incompetence frequently resulted in evil. When people compare where our society is going, they usually reference “Idiocracy” when they probably should be referencing “Brazil.”
My son works from home in tech for a private aerospace company.. Serves his company’s locations in multiple states. He’s visiting/staying with me for a week while I recuperate and brought his work with him. He did five things before 8 a.m. And continued throughout the day. I have no respect for government workers unless they can prove they do as much as my son.
My oldest daughter works for the IRS at their office in Franklin, Tennessee just outside of Nashville. The federal building in Franklin has lost its lease and will permanently close in Sept. of this years and the employees will be transferred to Memphis (I certainly wouldn’t want to move to Memphis one of the most corrupt cities in the country) at that time if they are so inclined. My daughter only works at the IRS office one day a week on Wednesday and the rest of the week by phone at home, She hates working for the IRS and all its bs regulations and will soon be moving with her family to Padukah, Kentucky where my son in law is from and is currently working a very good construction job with his younger brother after the end of the current school year in May. And they both will be happier moving to Padukah where my son in law is from.
