Congressional Republicans appear to have been the victims of an elaborate setup involving American flags covertly altered with hidden swastikas. We learned that what seemed at first like a shocking display in Rep. Dave Taylor’s (R-Ohio) office — a flag visibly bearing the hateful symbol — was part of an elaborate attempt to sabotage Republicans. Flags went out to multiple GOP offices featuring swastikas hidden in the stripes in a way that was essentially invisible to the naked eye but glaringly apparent on camera. Members of Congress (both House and Senate) have no business accepting any flags from any source other than the Capitol Flag Office. And if THAT was the source it should be easy enough to determine the culprits and dispose of them.
