DIVERSITY hits a road block

Pickering Post:

[…]

I can’t say for sure where the sudden push for diversity came from. I do remember however around seven or eight years ago a friend being invited to a conference. The conference was for business leaders and the message it was promoting was the benefit of diversity in the workforce. The conference was organised and paid for by one of the big four banks.

Here is the funny thing about diversity though. The benefits of diversity are only ever promoted in white countries.

No one mentions the loss of diversity in Zimbabwe when the Europeans fled the murderous racist Mugabe regime. That seems strange to me because after losing that white diversity, the UN noted that for a country which was not at war, Zimbabwe experienced the most rapid decline in living standards it had ever measured.

  1. No diversity in Mecca, either.

    Or North Korea.
    Or South Korea.
    Or Japan.

  2. European civilization evolved people with…

    Black hair
    Blond hair
    Brown hair
    Red hair

    Brown eyes
    Blue eyes
    Green eyes
    Hazel eyes

    light skin
    brown skin

The rest of the world evolved people with…

    Black hair
    Brown eyes
    Brown skin

    Now, who respects diversity?

  3. In most cases I don’t see how diversity, in and of itself, helps anything. If the best people for a particular job are albino lesbians from Africa, then hire albino lesbians from Africa to do the job. But to say that a company is better because it hires less qualified people of different ethnicities, sexual orientation, or whatever is asinine.

That is not to say that people in those categories cannot be educated/trained to to just a good a job as anyone else, but if they are going to get the job anyway then why would they bother?

  4. The worst thing India ever did was kick the British out. Can you imagine where their country would be today? Slumdog Millionaire wouldn’t be the iconic picture of the poor. Thank you, Ghandi.

  5. I don’t remember when the push for diversity started, either. But I remember well going to a corporate diversity training focus group in about 1990 or 92.

The name of the consultants running the thing called themselves Eris Associates. At the end of the three day (!) shindig, I asked them how they came to name their company after the Greek goddess of chaos, strife and discord. The three “associates” looked at each other for quite a long several seconds before one of them said, “Nobody ever asked us that before.” He never did answer my question. I am not making this up.

  6. The first time I heard about diversity, as a tool like it’s being used now, was in fall of 1994.

I was involved in facilitating some seminars back then and a sister-in-law was attending one. At one point she came up and asked what it meant when a gay woman had used it for exactly the same reason we see today. My S-i-L thought maybe it was a part of the program she just wasn’t understanding yet. “What does she mean by that?”

I shrugged. I had no idea. It was all the gay woman’s thing. Not a part of what was going on. It seemed like a lame attempt at their own version of affirmative action.

Guess I had it somewhat right, except for the hate whitey, hate men, hate straight people parts. Didn’t learn that until later.

    Diversity!!

Because the more honest Anti-White was too obvious.

  8. Diversity today means the opposite of its prior meaning. Diversity involves assigning politically correct attributes to individuals based on their superficial characteristics regardless of what makes any individual different from others with the same superficial characteristics. This makes it possible for the collectivists to say that a black conservative isn’t really “black” or call him an Uncle Tom.

Diversity today demands the dismissal of the individual diversity that makes us each our own person.

    Fuck diversity. It is evil.
