DNC to Vote This Month on Whether to Hold a “Do-Over” Election for Party Vice Chairs

CNN

The Democratic National Committee has set a June vote to decide whether it will hold a redo of the election of David Hogg and Pennsylvania state Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta as vice chairs.

The move stems from a challenge to how the initial vice chairs election was conducted in February but also comes amid a party rift over Hogg’s decision to support primary challengers to Democratic members of Congress he deems “ineffective.”

DNC members will vote electronically from June 9-11 on whether to hold a redo of the election, according to a DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting Thursday. More

  1. There’s nothing Democratic about the Democratic National Committee. First they appoint their own fav Presidential candidate, now they don’t like the results of their very own election so they’ll call do overs. But mah democracy.

  2. Why bother? Actual voting has never mattered in what they do.

Just do what you want and say the votes were there.

Wasn’t it in Ohio, or some such local state, they ASSIGNED Obama primary votes they thought he might get if he were actually on the ballot? Instead of ZERO, he won that primary.

    Democrats! PFFT!!

  3. This is not regular order for the DNC. They usually do their voting after they gavel out for meals and have a minimum majority lagging behind who want to change something. That’s when they take a vote. Ask Donna Brazille. She’s an expert at it.
