I think that we were all better off back in the bad old days when all most people had was one telephone and it was generally in the front room or on the kitchen wall and you had to dial the phone number in order to make a phone call. I have a flip phone, I call it my umbilical cord but I only use it when I need to make a call or receive a call from work, other than that I can live without it.
