DOGE Ends Early

Newsweek

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has been quietly disbanded with eight months left in its charter, according to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) director.

OPM Director Scott Kupor told Reuters that DOGE—the sweeping cost-cutting effort led by billionaire Elon Musk that dominated the first months of President Donald Trump’s second term—“doesn’t exist,” adding that most of the office’s functions have been absorbed by OPM, the federal government’s human resources agency. 1. DOGE was never about saving money. It was about gathering data on us to be used in data centers against us. That is what they did when they went into the IRS, SS, etc., they were gathering data. The purpose of DOGE was to facilitate the implementation of AI Governance. They completed their mission. (As a side to this, many human government jobs will be replaced).

  2. I have another take on this. DOGE stuck out like a sore thumb. The number one agency libtards liked to hate and that judges liked to rule against. DOGE has been swallowed up by OPM. Probably the same people working it. I think this might have been done just to get the targets off their backs. I guess we’ll see.

  3. DOGE was successful in exposing a lot of waste with records so they couldn’t be denied.
It was successful in recapturing funding to worthless programs.
Unfortunately our government will see that as money to be allocated to new worthless programs.

  4. Since DOGE has been absorbed into other government department operations it was a great success. Hopefully, DOGE will continue after Trump leaves office, which all depends on getting another patriot as US President.
