Senior officials within the Department of Justice (DOJ) have held discussions with federal prosecutors in Manhattan about the possibility of dropping their corruption case against New York Mayor Eric Adams, which emerged after Adams voiced criticism against the Biden administration’s open border policies, the NY Times reports, citing (as always) anonymous sources.
DOJ officials, through the office of President Trump’s new deputy AG, Emil Bove, have also spoken to Adams’ defense counsel since Donald Trump took office, the NY Post further confirms. more here

No biggie. If Adams is corrupt (certainly a possibility if not a likelihood) he’ll screw up (again) and get caught and nailed. There’s no rush because he’s a blue mayor who isn’t screwing up quite as badly as others.
The Leftist DOJ was evidentially up to it’s same old tricks because Adams went after Biden.
So, how about some DOJ heads on pikes at the main gate? If truly B.S. charges, the people prosecuting it had to know it was so and were acting in bad faith.
Slick move by Adams. Run to President Trump for “protection” from the revengeful Demwit party leadership he is in bed with who want him not just gone, but also destroyed. The new MAGA-influenced DOJ may show mercy by President Trump’s directive, but Adam’s doesn’t deserve it.
