Senior officials in President Donald Trump‘s administration have reportedly considered proposals to restrict transgender Americans from owning firearms.
Justice Department officials have discussed restricting the sale of guns to transgender people in the wake of the Minneapolis Catholic school shooting after the suspect was said to be transgender, according to anonymous sources who spoke with CNN and The Washington Post.

I’m not exactly on board with this idea as it could enable a future administration to decide that a group they disagree with could be denied the Constitutional right to own arms also.

Under federal law, possessing a medical marijuana card makes you a prohibited person, and you cannot legally purchase or possess a firearm. Should be no problem restricting someone that thinks they are a different sex and are on mind/body altering drugs. And just plain crazy.
