Dominican Republic Claims Boat Hit by U.S. Navy had Over a Ton of Cocaine

The Dominican Republic government announced that the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) and the Navy of the Dominican Republic (ARD) seized over a ton of cocaine on a boat targeted by the U.S. Navy.

President Donald Trump’s administration has been destroying boats from Venezuela suspected of carrying drugs to America.

The administration has struck three boats. The Dominican Republic did not confirm which boat had the cocaine, but it looks like it could be the third one that Trump announced on Saturday. READ MORE

  1. Subsequently, Navy units and DNCD tactical teams carried out a search and tracking operation in the area, managing to recover 13 bales containing the 377 packages, wrapped in adhesive tape and with different logos.

    “The report, released this Sunday by the authorities, specifies that 60 of the recovered packages were destroyed as a result of the explosion of the boat”.

    They destroyed only 60 out of 377 packages? They need more and bigger warheads.
