  1. Let me get this straight; By “their” logic, they can’t and shouldn’t be held liable for their machines and software being used for nefarious purposes. Kinda like…..Blame the “shooter” not the “gun”.

    And what would be the consequences of their not being ‘accurate and reliable?’ My best guess would be that they can’t be used.
    Regardless of any previous status, they must provide proof of acceptable performance for certification after any and all software upgrades that occurred subsequent any prior certification.
    They’re really just flinging shit over there.
    Red herrings, too.
    If their systems were upgraded and not certified after that act, they are simply unacceptable. That’s the law, and nothing else should be argued about, until after they prove their status.
