Leftists have long relied on a completely idiotic metric to claim that hurricanes are getting more intense— economic impact.
They don’t look at the hurricane itself, they look at the monetary damage it causes. I would hate to think they are this stupid, to not realize there is more to damage than a century ago, particularly in Florida. My guess is they are more evil than stupid, knowing full well what they are doing to achieve their goal of power and control.

I read a book years ago about the Galveston, TX hurricane way the hell back in 1900. The biggest thing to remember is thus, there were NO evil SUV’s & monster pickup trucks stalking innocent liberal folks to run over. However, there were people who got caught out because of the utter lack of tech back then. Some of those unfortunate souls were literally skinned alive by the sand being blown with such force. Some estimates were that the winds were between 170 & 200 mph. That would not even be recognized on today’s scale, it would have been a CAT 7 or 8. So,spare all of us your bullshit Don.
