Donald Trump: ‘I Fell Asleep’ During Barack Obama Speech

Breitbart: President Donald Trump responded quickly to former President Barack Obama’s speech on Friday, claiming that he fell asleep during the speech.

“I’m sorry, I watched it, but I fell asleep,” he said. “I found he’s very good for sleeping.”

The president responded to Obama’s critical speech of his presidency during a fundraising speech in Fargo, North Dakota.

Trump acknowledged that Obama was “trying to take credit” for the economic boom that the United States was experiencing after he got elected. He argued that the economy would have crashed if Hillary Clinton had won the election.

 

“If the Democrats got in with their agenda in November of almost two years ago, instead of having 4.2 up, I believe honestly we’d have 4.2 down,” Trump said. “We were heading South.”

He described Obama’s so-called “recovery” as the weakest economic recovery since the Great Depression.  read more

  9. There is a reason all other former POTUS have kept quiet after their time was up. Trying to take credit for something that can in no way be tied to you (remember all the whining, moaning, whaling and gnashing of teeth that Trump was undoing Obama’s legacy?) makes you look small, insecure and like you are acknowledging your “legacy” is a heaping pile of fermented excrement.

    That’s you Obama. You and your legacy are nothing more than a heaping pile of fermented excrement and I thank you so very much for reminding the voters this close to the election that not only is Russia, Russia, Russia, nothing more than a waist of taxpayer money and time but the last 8 years were an even greater waist of taxpayer money and time (Iran would have collapsed without the cash infusion you gave them for starters; hell Iran would have collapsed 6 months into 09 had you not been there to support the Mullahs- but I digress).

I find myself falling asleep during conservative news broadcasts.. when they run a 1 minute clip for context of CNN, MSNBC, NBC, etc. If I may suggest, for audience retention, stop entertaining the left talking points all together, just stop. It’s hilarious for about 5 minutes then it’s redundant for the rest of time.

  20. The first paragraph of Obama’s nonsense was your tight 5 for your local Chuckle Bucket in honor of his “ethics” award.

    The rest of it was a transparent campaign speech. I assume that the FEC will be treating UofIll’s payment and award as a campaign finance violation and fine them accordingly.

  21. I watched the Great Zero and when that jugged eared, blue lipped, fly-encrusted piece of Marxist sh1t claimed that the economy was due to his policies, I was very, very close to placing 230 gns through the TV. I kid you not.
