how can we take back our country when we can’t even take back our party?
We know the Democrats want to piss on us. What disgusts us is that the Republicans piss on us and call it lemonade.
We upset their apple cart. It’s about time. It makes no difference if your enemy stabs you in the back or your supposed ally stabs you in the back. You’re dead either way.
We’re not voting our way out of this; I know, broken record, but what good is voting when the Republicants are playing for the other team?
What if they gave an election and nobody showed up?
If they stay very long in D.C. they all become corrupt, some do it quicker than others, but if they stay they all become corrupt eventually. Whether it’s money or blackmail or a combination of both, it is always the end result.
Until I gave up saying it, because it’s too far gone now to fix, I always said with any elected office you needed to change them like a dirty diaper.
There is no fixing D.C., I think any of us who are honest with ourselves know that. I see it in a very short amount of time coming down to either full blown communism or total collapse of the country or civil war, if Jesus doesn’t come back before then.
It’s state versus not state. State versus every person including the fricking people who man the state and perform the functions of oppression.
Eighty percent (pulled out my ass but thoughtfully) of the Republican house are state, ignorant, or on to the grift. As far as I can tell all the democrats are pure raving state.
That means we have ninety percent state, from raving to trough curious and ten percent seemingly trying to move the needle away from state, rather representing people, the people.
The freedom caucus to loosely aligned representatives have engaged a fraught piece of work. We need a preference cascade to help this happen and there’s a faint feel of just that in the air.
All McCarthy had to do was keep his promises. He didn’t. This is his fault.
