RIP Monty.
I know you’d like my headline. You had a great sense of humor.
As a tribute I give you the Monty Hall episode of The Odd Couple

I thought he was OK, but I didn’t like how he turned the letters on Wheel of Fortune.
“Donโt Take Whatโs in the Box”…?
Is that from the Hall of Monty’s humor?
(Yeah, I know he was actually in the Canadian Army, but these Marine Corpse puns really crack me up.)

Aw c’mon….the best part was when Cheryl, Mary, Linda et all showed what was in their box….
Monty Humor’s Revenge.
Carol Merrill, baby.
That was worth watching! …drinks beer for breakfast
This is when I first realized game shows (and everything else on t.v.) was RIGGED.
Distract the audience member with cash while they move the giant wooden rocking horse behind curtain #1.

@Carter: That was actually White’s privilege, not his.
I liked that show as a kid.
“A can of squid.”
Jay Stewart died in 1989 (age 71)
Carol Merrill is alive (age 76)
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Had no idea he was still alive. What a showman!
Thanks for the commercial free episode BFH. Enjoyed it.
@Half-Assed Patriot: I hate to break it to you, son, but everything in life is rigged, and Let’s Make a Deal is just a microcosm of life.
Don’t believe it? That’s OK, most of the suck- uh, I mean, – “players” don’t.
It’s more comforting that way, anyway.

He looks pretty good for 96….no?
I’m glad Monty waited until now to choose the box.
Curtains and RIP
RIP
Not much a fan of Game Shows … but he seemed to have the knack.
Carol Merrill, hot babe
Thanks BFH, I loved that show, back in the day I would stay up late and watch after “the news”. Hard to believe that era of greater simplicity and happiness was within our lifetimes. TV today is programmed by the mentally ill, everything is SJW hectoring up ‘side the head (or “conversation” as they say). I am grateful for taking your ‘site back there on occasion.
My grandfather was still alive in the early to mid 60’s and loved to watch this show. I miss Match Game the most, that was a funny game show. Or You Bet Your Life with Groucho Marx.
