One Wisconsin man is taking on a challenge to raise money for fallen first responders.
Nate Carroll has a goal of doing 1.5 million pushups in 365 days to raise $1.5 million in support of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation’s Fallen First Responders Home Program. The program benefits the families of police officers, firefighters and EMT personnel who are killed in the line of duty by taking on their mortgages.
Carroll started the challenge on June 14th and has already completed about 175,000 pushups. More
By my calculations, Carroll will have to do 4,492 pushups a day for the next 295 days to complete the challenge. He’s already behind the pace of doing 4,110 a day to complete the challenge in a year. – Dr. Tar
Seems like an odd number for a goal, why not a flat million, even that would be 2,740 a day. This guy reminds me of David Goggins. We used to make Chuck Norris jokes, “In the Beginning there was nothing … then Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked nothing and told it to get a job”, now its David Goggins

I can do about 90 a day, maybe 120. But I do have other shit to do.
1000 a day? Fuck off. 4500 a day? No fucking way.
If you bounced a quarter off his biceps the ricochet might take your eye out.
