Dubai’s “Torch Tower” Catches Fire, Again

Flames were seen licking up the side of the 79 story residential skyscraper aptly named Torch Tower in Dubai. Residents were evacuated safely and the fire was put out by local firefighters. The same building caught fire two years ago.  Some suspect its external cladding as the cause.

  1. Sure are a lot of buildings catching on fire these days.

    It’s almost like all those forest fires terrorists encouraged each other to start, are caused by terrorists.

  2. OJ seemed to be in a lot of disaster movies and other crummy movies like Capricorn One. Although he was an effective foil in the Police Squad movies, he’s still just plain dumb, just ask Howard Cosell. Maybe that’s because he was a disaster just waiting to happen.

    “See this? Dried camel dung isn’t fire proof cladding. Do you want fires? Because this is how you get fires.”
