Not all of the excitement from Sunday’s opening World Cup match between Ecuador and Qatar took place on the field.
Two days after it was announced that the sale of beer with alcohol would be banned at the eight World Culp stadiums, Ecuador fans appeared to chant in the stands, “Queremos cerveza, queremos cerveza!” or “We want beer!” as their team defeated Qatar, 2-0.
Qatar, the host country, follows a form of Islam called Wahhabism, which has strict limits on the purchase and consumption of alcohol; however, hotel bars have served it for years.
Non-alcoholic beer will still be sold at the matches, however. more

When I was in Kuwait, they had a Chili’s, TGI Fridays, Applebee’s, and many other American chain restaurants built exactly like they are here.
They all had bar sections where they peddled non-alcoholic booze.

Our Thanksgiving with all the fixings is in October quite simply due due to a shorter Growing Season. Yet, even we don’t get as much snow as Buffalo New York (Go Bills!) Also, Ours isn’t followed by a “black Friday” shopping orgy.
I, However, Take US Thanksgiving/Triple Play Football Day seriously enough to have bought my 2nd Turkey and we just do a much simpler meal. My Best friend, his American wife & My parents all come over to watch the games, eat, chug, & have Bourbon.
