  1. My Egg Nog recipe. Buy egg nog mix and Jack Daniels.
Drive home. Throw egg nog mix away. Scoop ice in glass. Pour Jack over ice and wait for glass to sweat. Congratulations, your egg nog is done.

  2. Plenty of eggnog in Northern Ohio. Hartzler’s makes the best. Eggnog and Jack Daniel’s are complementary—you sip one, then sip the other. The alcohol helps burn off the 400 calories per cup of eggnog and keeps the Thanksgiving-New Year’s weight gain under control. Trust me.

  3. My first fresh nog experience was Christmas Eve 1995, we were living in a condo for a couple of years and were friendly with an older couple a few doors down. They invited us over to sample the wife’s homemade egg nog. At some point in conversation we learned she was Judge Scalia’s niece. I don’t remember much after that but I’m pretty sure we didn’t discuss the writ of certiorari process.
