As such, a healthy economy requires a change in direction in energy policy. more

  4. I have a friend that rented out his shop/barn and he was paying commercial rate on a separate meter, when the guy moved out PGE wanted to charge my friend the commercial rate which is over double for 13 months until they went back to a normal home owner rate.

  5. “I don’t think I ever hated as company more than I hate PGE. Commiefornia gives them increases like handing out candy.”

Most of those increases are to cover losses related to law suits. It started with that big ass fire in Menlo Park (I think) where a gas main exploded setting the whole damn town on fire and after that it’s been one wild fire after another. So we, the consumers, are paying for their negligence. It’s total bull shit. The wife just paid the utility bills yesterday. Our shop was right at $1200. When we moved into this building 10 years ago we averaged right at $600.00. Our home was about the same.
