Elon Running Out of Options to Save Twitter

CTH

Bottom line, more users means it costs Twitter more money to operate.  The business model is backwards from traditional business.  More customers = higher costs, because each customer brings more simultaneous users….. which means exponentially more data performance is needed.

User engagement features on Twitter are significant, because that’s all Twitter does.  Not only can users write comments, graphics, memes, videos, but they can also like comments, retweet comments, subtweet comments, bookmark comments, and participate in DM systems.  That is a massive amount of server/data performance demand, and when you consider simultaneous users, it’s almost unimaginable in scale.  That cost and capacity is also the reason why Twitter does not have an edit function. 1. Total BS. My God, he OWNS it. No debt costs. He fired MOST of the parasite workers! Payroll vanishing. He stopped paying on that stupid San Francisco building; overhead dropping. And you dare to worry about computational costs? So what if there is a 10 minute processing time. Internet costs??? My God he owns star-link. I can’t wait for an Elon-phone.

  2. YES, Elon cannot be a bad guy. His enemy list are all the idiots I detest also. Even Z-man had him on his hit list. And the other Z dude, Zuckerface hates him too.
Yes, EV’s are a big scam. With Elon everything is complicated. PS, we all can’t wait for his fight here in Vegas.

  3. How was it funded through growth after going public? What was the revenue model? If it grew, and it did, there had to be a (solid?) idea of how it would make profit, yes?

  4. One day of struggle and people are writing off Twitter. It’s a transition, people! Elon has been monetizing it more than it was before he bought it. He has drastically reduced payroll. Saturday was the result of moving away from servers run by woke companies, over which he has little control. Perhaps it could have been smoother but it’s running now (and BTW Facebook is extremely sluggish the past couple of days – and they aren’t in the process of escaping woke companies because they are one).
And Elon has the cash to make it run properly (not much compared to his net worth). Just take a deep breath and wait a day.

If I had money like Elon Musk, I’d probably blow it on shitty shit like twitty twit too.

How about a ride on an experimental sub with 4 other billionaires like Elon. He who dies with the most toys wins! These by far are not stupid men, and the media tried making heroes out of them until the public decided they were arrogant stupid fools for causing the world to be sucked in along with them.

  6. I don’t Tweet. I don’t post pictures of last night’s dinner on Facebook. Both could disappear tomorrow, and it would not matter to me in the slightest. Nice try, Elon, but if you wanted to piss away $40b, you should have called me. I would gladly have helped relieved you of your burden. No charge.

  7. Paul Joseph Watson covers it quite well in a video that is coming out later today. I get them before they are posted to YouTube and it explains what is going on. Soon as it’s up I’ll post a link.

  8. There is only one entity able to run Twitter.
    The US government.
CIA, FBI, and all the rest of the despicable letter agencies prop it up in order to surveille the public.
