Elon’s Curious Choice of Weapons

Business Insider

Elon Musk posted a picture of his “bedside table” on Twitter early on Monday morning, featuring guns and cans of caffeine-free Diet Coke.

The billionaire CEO captioned the picture “My bedside table,” which featured a series of unusual objects including two guns, four empty cans of caffeine-free diet Diet Coke, and a recreation of the Emanuel Leutze’s painting of George Washington crossing the Delaware River. More

  2. The entire pic is a Photoshopped gag. But it is entertaining a lot of people, and freaking out others. Particularly people who think that’s a real revolver (it’s from a game) and it looks scary.

  3. That’s the strangest looking, um, I guess, revolver I’ve ever seen. Barrel breaks open by pivoting to the side of the barrel? And I can’t imagine what kind of ammo that cylinder accepts.

  4. Seems reasonable. The rings on the table top indicate the cans are a common item. Why not the guns also?
He put himself out there as a target for not only nut-job lefties, but also any evil organization that may have incriminating evidence stored in twatter. This is his way of pushing back to the probably hundreds of death threats he is receiving daily.
Who here at iOTWREPORT doesn’t have some form of self defense at arm’s reach from their bed?
    If not, you should.

  5. Thanks Brad. I’m a wheel gun fan and couldn’t make it out.

But then we dinosaurs think 3D is saying the alphabet three times or wearing the funny paper glasses at the movies.

I don’t know that that gun ever went into production. It came out at the same time all those goofy looking guns came out with the extractor rod over the top of the barrel. I think it’s claim to fame is someone from the video game world grabbed it and made it famous.

  7. Brad, I’m sure you are right about the video gamers.
I remember the 007 game “Goldeneye” that had a good variety of firearms you could select.
Lauded as one of the first “first person shooter” games, it was outright fun!

I got a thing for Single Action Armies. Love to shoot those things from the hip. I can scare the hell out of tin cans at 25. Occasionally I kill one. LOL
