Calif ran ads saying make sure to file your taxes to get the bail out money. We filed our taxes and got nothing.
The blue half of states that let this play out will now see a jump in employment. Of course Biden will take credit for it, but it’s simple economics. My guess is that many of these lazy ones have a bit of a cushion and will put off getting a job until 2022 – but now is the right time to get a job if you are a minimum wage earner.

It’s amazing how hard some people work to not have a job.
Scrap prices are up, so are catalytic converters.
I see the mice still fail to understand why the cheese is free.
RadioMattM: CSRS retiree, no Social Security.
GA Native: Good for you.
My SS, that I worked almost 30 for, will be reduced because of my Great White North equivalent that I worked another 10+ years for.
Big sign in WalMart as you walk in, there’s a big sign that says “WALMART IS HIRING 20,000 STOCKERS AND DISTRIBUTION EMPLOYEES – APPLY TODAY!” Every where I look there’s a “We’re hiring” sign in the front window. There’s no reason for any one to be on unemployment. Time to get back to work and pay taxes. Break their dinner plate and see how fast they get a job.
Time to gettajahb, you lard assed piece of shit.
Funny how that coincides with lots of vax mandates taking effect in September…
