Miss Kitty had an idea.
She wanted every pet her family ever had, all together in a wonderful garden.
This was quite an undertaking, and she was very patient as I stole a little time here and there to complete this.
For the record, this painting is 5 feet wide.
I hope this pleases Miss Kitty as much as it does me.
Fabulous!
If I commissioned that you’d be proficient in hamsters, ferrets, turtles & ducks by the time you finished.
I can hear Miss Kitty purring now.
…a pet OWL?
NICE!
A real challenge there, met by our artist and ringmaster BFH!
Wonderful collection of fur (and feather) babies Ms. K, and beautiful execution BFH, as always…
Awesome! That’s a good idea.
SNS, is Fur a ringmaster or ringleader?
Is iotw a circus or a gang?
Hmmm…

Easy.
It’s a circus gang.
We’re quite a versatile and enterprising group, no reason we can’t be both…
No hummingbird? JK
Great idea and great artistry.
WOW ! Looks kinda like a Peter Max. Wild!
What a nice way to remember all your pets. Great job on this BFH!
I think the Garden of Eden must be inhabited by critters.
Hey, that is a great job!! You really brought them all together. What a great job.
Miss Kitty, I know you love it! Good for you!
What an absolutely great painting! Miss Kitty, what a good idea.
I think if I did that for my family when I was growing up, it would take up the whole wall! We had lots of strays and had between 3-8 cats every year, a variety of birds and dogs, and a few mice, snakes and insects (my contributions!).
Beautiful!!!
(We have to know the story about the owl!)
A similar all pet portrait would be six cats. We never had a dog.
That is sweet!
Brought a smile to my face as soon as I saw it.
Nice idea Miss Kitty!
big fur…………. you are amazing, you capture the essence of life, so glad you share your work with us, we are richer each time you show us your art.
A wall filled with love. Another outstanding painting BFH.
What a beautiful sentiment and a masterful rendering.
Great job, BFH!
That image, which is fantastic, reminds me of the painting by J Bouttats:

And the ‘landscape format’, wide angle, is great!
Couldn’t fit all the pets onto one canvas
We had plenty of other pets including rescues and inherited
Some of the photos dated back at least fifty years so therefore had a tough time choosing which ones.
Also wanted to catch the essence of my parents garden, which is where the owl comes in. They nested in the Eucalyptus tress for years so we always considered them as pets.
BFH did a fabulous job catching their colorful personality, makes the room just POP. God truly blessed him with artistic talents.
Which gives me another idea, I may just have BFH paint more single canvases to go around the main canvas.
Have to get back on my feet first and until then this canvas of memories brings great joy and once in a while some tears.
Thanks again BFH
