  1. She’s absolutely perfect for her new role. I do wonder, though, how she will manage her most important role — as mother to her two very young children — and the full-time requirements of CEO. It’s undoubtedly something that her husband and she discussed, and determined a highly-workable solution. If it was his desire she take over in the event of his death, they have already created a plan for that.

Best wishes and God go with you, Erika.

  2. My heart breaks for her. But the reality is this is big money. I’m happy she assumed power. As Charlie intended. Now she needs to find some one that can engage young people one on one like Charlie did. That’s going to be really tough.

  3. I’m sure Charlie and her had plans if anything happened to him, including who would help her at college campuses.
I’ve been seeing a lot of people who worked for Charlie and have seen a few that I think could do what he did, not as a replacement, because he can’t be replaced, but someone who can reach kids.

  4. I keep seeing people wondering who they’re going to find to “replace” Charlie & I believe that’s missing the entire point of what he was trying to do. Which was to train millions of young people to think & speak for themselves. Will some individual bubble to the top eventually? Maybe. But having just one wasn’t his goal.

The Hallmark of Turning Point is meeting them on their own ground and debating them. Tell me I’m wrong. Otherwise they’re just a cheap social club. No, they need That Person.

  6. I understand what you’re saying but at the same time that’s exactly what he & Turning Point have been training them to do – meet them on their own ground and debate them. Is everyone going to do it as well as he did? Probably not. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t already out there doing it.
