Breitbart: President Trump praised the men and women of the American armed forces who are overseas during the Christmas season, expressing that “every American heart is thankful” for their service to the nation.

“I just want to wish everybody a very, very merry Christmas, we say Merry Christmas, again, very, very proudly,” Trump told the armed forces, according to White House pool reports. Very very merry Christmas. “We’re going to have a great year, an incredible year. I’m thrilled to bring seasons greetings on behalf of the first lady and our entire family and most importantly, on behalf of the American people.

  1. I remember my first Christmas deployed – the loneliness most (we didn’t have Sat phones or the internet and home was a $ 25.00 3 minute call away if you stood in the three-five hour line).

Yet the flag and the camaraderie provided some relief and we did get some movies and px time. Could have been worse – but that 2nd class cook with the belly didn’t cook like “home.”

  2. President Trump, and his unique way of handling the entreched idiots working 24/7 against him, is a big part of my thoroughly enjoying this particular Christmas. Watching and listening to those against him flail aimlessly is the other part. Merry Christmas and a happy 3 (7) more years everybody.

  3. Our thoughts and prayer are for the Military who are not at home this Christmas. We pray safety and and a quick return home.
You are never alone, thousands are with you in Prayer.

    Merry Christmas.

  4. The only Christmas I spent overseas was Christmas 1973 when we were in the Philippines for awhile after spending a month in transit across the vast Pacific Ocean to begin our cruise to SE Asia off the coast of Vietnam and eventually to the Persian Gulf before returning home in July 1974. I pray all the time for the Navy in particular and especially all the men and women in the Carrier Battle Groups currently in the N. China Sea between Japan and Korea in case something happens. I’ve been there off of Vietnam in 1974 and know a lot of what they’re going through. May God bless all the US Military, Soldiers, Marines, Navy, Air Force etc. all over the World and especially those who are in harms way. Merry Christmas and may God bless all of us.
