People believe this nonsense, but can’t believe in a Creator?
Nothing wrong with Poltergeist either.
Great flick and excellent casting.
Jobeth Williams & Craig T Nelson, the entire family & co was perfectly cast.
^^^ Although I agree with all of that, it still bugs me to see the pot scene. Yeah, I get that that generation did it, but for some reason I look at grown-ups, especially parents, smoking pot as weak and un-disciplined, the same way I look at Joe Rogan and Bill Maher.
I experienced at least a couple of these incidents while alone of course–small rug getting completely flipped over and moved to middle of room, completely squared up with sides of room, Bic lighter flying into a box of weeds off to the side of the porch, it couldn’t have just fallen straight, card stock from a picture reframing project being whipped up in air to make warping sound then lined up perfectly upside down by front door–that picture the deceased’s favorite picture that had been reframed just that day. Or so it seems!
I seem to recall some eggs breaking themselves on counter in the movie
Demons, walked through the front door with mom and dad, who just happened to know a ghost ‘cleaner’.
But they gave the Oscar to ET for special effects that year. LOL
Anyone touching those TV screens might experience a very severe shock, at least enough to knock the devil out of you.
Whenever someone asks what movie scared you the most, I always say “Poltergeist.”
I stretched out my fiance’s tee shirt sleeve covering my eyes during most of the movie.
Portuguese is scary.
