Former CBS News staffers are calling for the network to launch an independent investigation into “60 Minutes” after the left-wing news program deceptively edited remarks made by Vice President Kamala Harris in an interview.
“I think there should be an outside investigation,” one former CBS News journalist told the New York Post this week. “Obviously, there’s a problem here. If they care about journalistic integrity, they would conduct an investigation or release the full transcript.”
They said the fact that Harris’ two responses to the same question were “so different” made it imperative that the network be transparent and release the entire interview. more

The real scandal is that 60 Minutes thought this response was an improvement over her first one! It hurts one’s brain trying to parse her sentences. As stated, the U.S. will apparently be in a protracted pursuit of clarity, and if one particular stab at clarity doesn’t convince Israel to end its war against the biggest state-sponsored terrorist groups, then another attempt — using different clarity — will be deployed.
Harris inadvertently described her own sophist approach to communication.
So CBS is going to investigate itself? Super!
The only reason I would watch anything on CBS is to see which companies were advertising on the network, so I could try to avoid doing business with them.
