NYP:A former Secret Service officer who published an explosive tell-all from his days guarding the Bill and Hillary Clinton White House is planning to file a defamation lawsuit against his detractors, The Post has learned.
A lawyer for Gary Byrne, whose book “Crisis of Character: A White House Secret Service Officer Discloses His Firsthand Experience with Hillary, Bill, and How They Operate,” has sent notices to Media Matters for America and David Brock informing them that he intends to file suit.
“Officer Byrne will bring legal action against you, in your personal capacity, and against Media Matters,” a lawyer for the former Secret Service officer wrote to Brock, a loyal Clinton ally and the founder of the liberal advocacy group Media Matters.
The letter requests Brock and Media Matters to “hold” all records and communications associated with their communications regarding Byrne — including “Any communication(s) between David Brock and The Honorable Hillary Rodham Clinton” regarding the former Secret Service officer, suggesting there might be collusion between the campaign and her defenders.
Poor man is simply asking to be found dead with a suicide note….
No reasonable prosecutor will touch this or he’ll end up with a horse head in his bed.
I had to wait months to get this guy’s book from my local library system, it was worth it. They have five copies circulating across N. Wisconsin and there’s still people waiting to read it.
How can she be called “Honorable” after losing her law license…??
I think that’s a typo, should read “Horrible”.
“No reasonable prosecutor will touch this or he’ll end up with a horse head in his bed”
That’s why ya Crowd Fund the fuck out of it!!
I hope he gets every nickel that that POS Brock has.
INTENT to file suit.
Fur, you’re the lawyer here, right?
(or anyone else, I’m grateful for an answer)
WHY on God’s earth would one
TELEGRAPH/ANNOUNCE
that they’re going to sue?!?
Is it necesary, as the protocol for such a suit?
@Csar; I’m not a lawyer (I’m human) but I would think that it freezes everyone in place as regards to any emails, meeting notes, coorespondence, files and the like. You fire this shot over the bow in case the defendant learns of the pending lawsuit and starts to sanitize their records. Id they go ahead and delete anything and get caught it cripples any defense they may try to put up.
