A study out of Harvard found that students who took exams during a summer heat wave without air conditioning performed worse than their counterparts who took the same exam in a cooled building. Researchers claim these otherwise healthy individuals performed 13 percent slower when performing in extreme heat. More
This observer believes this simple study helps explain some of the idiocy that’s been going on in London. Watch
“A study out of Harvard found that students who took exams during a summer heat wave without air conditioning performed worse than their counterparts who took the same exam in a cooled building.”
Once more a university study confirms the blisteringly obvious.
Florida explained!
You may think I’m heat but it’s really just the dumb.
How about if the students were hungover?
KENYA???
I bet they’d get the same average of scores if they took the exams in the open in Antarctica during July. There’s something about being very uncomfortable vs test scores.
It’s not the heat…it’s the stupidity.
I do lotsa welding outside – in Arizona – in July & August.
That would likely explain the ‘tard. I’m desperately trying to not go Full ‘Tard.
Welding? Arizona? Mr. John, you ever work on trucks? I got’s me a cab mount and some other fixins’ under a 66 ford if you’re into it.
Mr. Burr, I dabble a bit, got a floorpan going into ’66 mustang, got ’67 fastback needing lotsa love, etc, etc.
Next project will be stuffing a 390/c6 into an old military Pettibone forklift. It’s gonna be hideous.
Connect with me by using my screen name at the gee-mail.
Going to experiment. Getting out ice cream, going to do a brain freeze, see if that makes me as dumb as Biden. Hold my beer.
Poor, poor Lazlo.
I am an Insurance Adjuster in AZ.
Climbing roofs all day in the Monsoon.
That heat will kill you if you don’t watch out.
But lighting metal on fire in this heat, Outdoorjohn, I tip my sombrero to you.
That’s what I’m sayin’ Lazlo, Peak Arizona.
Anyway, I’m stuffing a 390 c/6 combo in a F100…..which is cool…. but putting that combo in a forklift is ridiculously dangerous enough to give me a chubby. Kudos
Poor Lazlo has likely been very busy the past few days, wait for that wonderful cool outflow before going topside, and do maintain a bit of moisture on the sombrero to minimize the risk of combustion. (Those things go off like black powder).
@ Aaron Burr- shit you have an F-100?? Nice…
Had one back in ’85 for a cross country trip with the camper in back. Blue and white.
Good times.
Sit in NYC traffic with no A/C!
BTW, you ended Hamilton’s life…yesterday, some years ago….just sayin’…
We all have revolutions to fight.

@Aaron Burr
Are you doing any suspension/steering mods to go with that FE upgrade?
Whatever you do, please buy an under-the-bed gas tank and ditch that in-cab tank. I like your comments here at iOTWreport, and would prefer that you don’t barbecue yourself in that truck.
My Manservant hooked a jump box up backwards on my 78 Chevy truck (which I bought expressly to run Bicyclist into ditches) due to someone using an old hot battery cable for the ground.
No flames but some char on the fuse firewall connector. Is this a new harness (the manservant is shot) or just some fuses and fuseable links? (the Manservant is merely flogged)
Sounds like you Zonie’s need a cold one and a Drift down the Verde River.
