Detective Rivera’s partner, Officer Wilbert Mora, was killed in the same ambush last Friday in Harlem.

NYP– Gov. Kathy Hochul is set to meet with embattled Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on Friday afternoon — just hours after hearing a slain NYPD cop’s widow blast his soft-on-crime policies at her husband’s funeral.
I don’t know that young woman but I am so proud of her and so so sorry that she was in the position to say those “straight to the heart” words. That clip should be played over and over again on those screens in Times Square. My understanding is that the standing ovation included the clergy. Prayers for both of the families and the six other families of police who have been shot since.
I happened to see that eulogy live.
I warn you in advance to grab a couple of tissues for that one. It is heartbreaking.
