Famous 60s Progressive Radical Can’t Get No Respect From Today’s Woke Activists

Poor Todd Gitlin. Doesn’t the lunatic left of today know who he was????

He was the founder of the SDS, Students for a Democratic Society, which was the precursor to the Weather Underground.

They got their heads smashed protesting the Vietnam War.

He was against apartheid in South Africa before anyone knew what apartheid was. He was woke when most were asleep.

You think he’d be a bit of a God to the SJWs of today.

Nope. He was just admonished by a 2018 activist that DGAS about the 60s.

Gitlin, a professor at Columbia (aren’t they all?) was giving a lecture about radicalism when he was his student’s age and used the word negro, the historically correct term for the time, when discussing the era.

The student was triggered, outraged, unsafe and panicked. She lodged a complaint.

Hey Gitlin, how does it feel to be attacked by the moronic robot you created?

  1. Reminds of the scene from Rick and Morty where the genetic clone of Abraham Lincoln and Adolph Hitler (appropriately named Abradolf Lincler) bumps into the high school’s black quarterback and calls him “boy”. Since he’s half Abraham Lincoln, I guess he’s supposed to get on his knees and kiss his ass, right?

It’s ok, Todd. That whirlwind won’t reap itself.

  2. If you are offended then the problem is always you.

Very similar to the blonde who goes to see a doctor and says ‘when I touch my elbow it hurts, when I touch my knee it hurts, when I touch my head it hurts.’ and the doctor says ‘well obviously, you have a broken finger!’ That broken finger is their willingness to be triggered and offended.

  3. The next person that refers to me and doesn’t say “person of whiteness” I am going to hound them until they lose their job.

Related Observation: Isn’t it interesting that people who rely on the public dole are always looking to get taxpayers, that fund their asses, fired?

  4. Ah. The Golden Age of Protest, when there were plenty of big issues that needed fixing.
Only small irritations remain but kids still feel the need to protest.
Their indignation I believe is mostly artificial, organized and funded by outside interests.
