The Rhino label is about to unveil “Woodstock 50 — Back to the Garden — The Definitive 50th Anniversary Archive,” a 38-disc, 36-hour, 432-song CD collection that lays the ’69 fest out in chronological order, from the first stage announcements to muddy farewells. Here
Pre-order it Here – for $799.98
$799.98? No thanks, the movie pretty much summed it all up. For $3.99

I’m gonna take a pass on that.
MY MOM WOULD COME BACK FROM THE GRAVE AND SLAP THE SHIT OUT OF ME IF I EVEN THOUGHT OF BUYING THAT!
Suckers are born every day.
Note: Nothing there you need to hear that’s not already out there..
For $800 it better come with a sample of the brown acid.
I’m not buying it until they off the 475 record vinyl equivalent…
offer
You can get the 170-disc complete works of Mozart for $175.
Just sayin …
izlamo delenda est …
I read somewhere awhile back that
old music overtook new music in sales.
Alot of reissues.
Tim – Didja hear about the grave robbers who opened Mozart’s casket looking for valuables? There wuz Mozart sitting a little desk with a big eraser who looked up at them and said: “Hey man, close the lid, I’m decomposing!”
“Woodstock”…I had to google that…must be a generational thing.
Not to be confused with Woodcock. Back then we used to say:
“Contrary to popular belief, Leonard Woodcock’s wife does not have splinters.”
That’s a lot of money not to pay in order not to get it.
It’ll be added to my collection before the first copy arrives on doorsteps.
Nope, not gonna happen. Better things happened in 1969. Now, offer the DVD set of the complete Apollo 11 moon landing, and I’d be interested!
Woodstock 50? “If you can remember the 60’s your weren’t there.” Wavy Gravy the hippie clown. Most of the people who might appreciate this are dead, or so deaf they couldn’t listen to it if they wanted to. Re-fuckin’-diculous.
My wood stock was an M-14.
It made its own music and it’s always in tune.
Man, I hope the first 400 songs on that disc is all sha na na.
Back to the MUD PIT maybe.
Fixed it.
Garbage after music festivals left behind by the Enlightened Ones…

Max Yasgur said it resembled a catastrophe afterwards…possible the first evidence of American Nihilism.
The spirit of Woodstock lives on – make a buck off the Peace & Love generation.
If my ex hears about this, he will probably buy it. He’s already spent an inordinate amount of time scanning other released videos trying to find an image of himself in the crowd.
I did not know of this fixation until shortly before the divorce. Everyone has to have a hobby, right?
Obviously for hippie baby boomers who have deep pockets of nostalgia, most of whom are probably still Marxists.

Yes I’m pretty much deaf, but 69′ was the year my wife made the mistake of marrying me. 24th of this month and she still hasn’t figured out how to get rid of me.
Anymouse- Congratulations to you and yours! That is quite a feat you’ve done there.
We’re coming up on 30 years this November. You’re an inspiration.
“THERE I AM!!! THIRD DUDE FROM THE LEFT IN THE MUD PIT WITH DRIED PUKE ON HIS BEADED VEST!”
I have a deep sense of pity for Rosalind and am relieved to hear she has moved on.
Perhaps I’m biased, I prefer Altamont after all.
The best part of the Woodstock move was the guy cleaning the Porta-Potties. That man LOVED his job.
I would rather pay $800 for Mary Jo Kopechne’s 1969 autopsy photos.
Oh, wait. Kennedy’s lawyers talked her parents out of having an autopsy performed.
How about a CD of Charles Manson’s songs from 1969 where he collaborated with the Beach Boy’s Dennis Wilson.
Wow, 1969… a wonderful year to remember. Right, Sharon?
The entire collection will be ripped and put online within days of it being released, and it’ll spread all over the place. I doubt there’ll be many people who will part with that much cash since it’ll be in the dollar bin at Walmart next year, just like Hillary’s books.
it’ll be on newalbumreleases[DOT]net soon and i’ll just download it like i do for all my digital tunes. don’t need anymore cd’s or vinyl to store in my castle. then i’ll just give the $ saved to my kids for their kids.
but, what you should be asking is, hasitleaked[DOT]com
What is that, about a 10000% markup on music that’s been making money for the record companies for decades? Oh, the irony.
Fucking capitalist hippies.
