  1. Again…

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Once we get the journalists all in line, we’ll make the trains run on time too, or at least you’ll never know if they don’t…

  5. Diary-schmirey! It’s only breaking-and-entering IF the diary has one of those little straps with a lock on it.

  6. The Ministry of Truth (1984) is busy looking for Books to Burn in a digital age.
Dump the stuff onto the internet the minute you see the Stazi at the front door.

  7. KCIR DUDE My friendly northern neighbor,
Don’t look now but the “Stazi” control
    the internet… erase & replace.
Walter Chronic talked about this 40 years ago.
