FDA Says Telling People Not to Take Ivermectin for COVID-19 Was Just a Recommendation.
Epoch Times: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) telling people to “stop” taking ivermectin for COVID-19 was informal and just a recommendation, government lawyers argued during a recent hearing.
“The cited statements were not directives. They were not mandatory. They were recommendations. They said what parties should do. They said, for example, why you should not take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. They did not say you may not do it, you must not do it. They did not say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful. They also did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin,” Isaac Belfer, one of the lawyers, told the court during the Nov. 1 hearing in federal court in Texas.
“They use informal language, that is true,” he also said, adding that, “it’s conversational but not mandatory.”
The hearing was held in a case brought by three doctors who say the FDA illegally interfered with their ability to prescribe medicine to their patients when it issued statements on ivermectin, an anti-parasitic that has shown positive results in some trials against COVID-19.
Ivermectin is approved by the FDA but not for COVID-19. Drugs are commonly used for non-approved purposes in the United States; the practice is known as off-label treatment.
The FDA created a webpage in 2021 titled “Why You Should Not Use Ivermectin to Treat or Prevent COVID-19” and later posted a link to the page on Twitter while writing: “You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.” A second post stated: “Hold your horses, y’all. Ivermectin may be trending, but it still isn’t authorized or approved to treat COVID-19.”
In a separate page, the FDA said: “Q: Should I take ivermectin to prevent or treat COVID-19? A: No.” MORE

So this opens the door to suing all the pharmacies that refused to fill Ivermectin prescriptions?
By April 2020 I was posting that folks in the ag communities were successfully treating Covid outbreaks with Duravet paste and oral use of injectable Ivermectin. T got this information from people I TRUST.
So this opens the door to financially destroying all the members of State Medical Boards that threatened to revoke or did revoke the medical licenses of doctors that prescribed Ivermectin?
So this will restore to life folks who died because they were denied Ivermectin and given FAR more dangerous alternatives like Remdesivir?

In a just world it would. Unfortunately the Republican establishment is just as bought by Big Pharma as any Democrat. That being said the Trial Lawyers haven’t gotten what they consider their “fair share” yet. They will. They are betting on there being enough honest politicians to see they get theirs. An honest politician being one who stays bought.
So where do businesses apply to get all the money they lost during shutdowns that early Ivermectin treatments may well have rendered unnecessary?

They went after Trump for pushing Ivermectin, and any doctor prescribing it. Heck, even Tractor Supply took it off the shelf because they didn’t want people self-medicating. Another log to throw on the fire. They think we have a short memory. I don’t forget. Know any doctors in your town that prescribes Ivermectin? I know of none.
That Paxlovid shit must not be working. I reckon we’ll be seeing Pfizermectin hit the pharmacy shelf shortly.
In other words, the FDA would have us believe that they had no idea that their “recommendation” would be acted on as though it were a directive.

…I was at a Tractor Supply a couple days ago, and they quit locking the Ivermectin up. Still have the “Not For Humies” signs up tho.

I emailed an article about this to Guv General Mills and asked her if she’s going to get people, including herself, to issue public apologies and force the medical board to pay the Dr. lost wages.

This suppression of Ivermectin after it was demonstrated elsewhere to be the KEY to ending the pandemic is the greatest crime ever perpetrated on the American people by its own elites.
But what do we do about it?
That’s rich ending the pandemic, where, when & was it magically done by a unicorn? Covid-19 ain’t gone deary. It just evolves.
IF Ivermectin use was allowed in the West, there would no longer be any man-made covid floating around.
